ich möchte ein jahr in die usa und habe jetzt für ISKA mein „student´s statement“ verfasst. Laso ein brief an meine host family.
Könntet ihr da bitte mal drüberlesen weil ich noch total unsicher bin ob das so geht 
danke 
Dear Host Family,
I´m really glad you took your time to read my letter and give me the opportunity to introduce myself to you.
My name is Paula xx and I´m 15 years old. I am from Bavaria in Germany and I do really love my country. I live in a small village called xx, wich is located near xx. Here I live with my parents, my grandma and my elder sister xx. My father xx is working in an office in Karlruhe and my mother xx is an elementary teacher. With my parents I get along quite well and we enjoy spending time together, for example going skiing in the winter or going to the cinema. My sister Pia is just a little bit more than a year older than I am and we are both visiting „xx“ which is our school. In general I have a really good relationship with her, exept these little fights sisters always have.
In the household I have to help to of course. My job is it to look after our cat Frieda, to tidy up my room and to do the dirty dishes. That´s not much but I´m taking over other jobs while I´m getting older too.
Because I had contact to other cultures since I was a small kid I am really open-minded and curious for different languages and manners. A few hobbies of mine are playing the guitar, unicycling, singing ,skiing and snowboarding and I am always really curious to learn new things. I would love to be able to discover activities I can´t do in Germany.
My favourite subjects in school are English and French because learning languages is really fascinating and I adore how these languages sound.
In my freetime I´m really dedicated in my village. I´m a servant in church and I also help if some events has to be organised and at the events, I help of course.
You probably wonder why I want to spend a year abroad. Well, first of all, of course, I want to improve and perfect my english and I want to get to know people from a place so far away from my home. I want to know what you enjoy to do and like to eat and love to see. I also want to become a part of another family in a part of the world I have never been too and I would like to do my part of intercultural understanding.
When I return from the my high school year I want to finish school and I would love to study but I´m not quite sure what , maybe fashion, english or acting.
I would be really grateful and happy if you would decide to choose me over the other candidates and give me the opportunity to live in your family. I know it will be a big challenge for both sides.
