Hello!
We are a host family from Germany and are looking for a girl that would like to be our guest from october 2016 until january 2017. We could´t find a german agency that has native english speaking students who would like to travel to Germany, so we are trying our luck here.
Me and my husband have to daughters and we are living in a house in a nice, green neighborhood. The city is about 30 minutes away by subway and in our area, there is a nice shopping mall, everything a teenager would need.
We have three turtles in the garden, two budger birds and have a free room upstairs next to the girls rooms.
The reason why we would like to get a student from overseas is, because me and my husband traveled the world a lot too, and we also made our experiences with host families. I went to california for ten month when I was 15 years old and stayed with three host families. I did´t find the right family at first, but then it got better and better. I want our guest to feel like home right away. Then I traveled to cape town for three month and to new york. My husband lived in australia for a year and in sweden.
Our daughters are 5 and 8 years old. They have english in school and kindergarten.
