Hi there,
My name is Katie McHugh.
I am sending you some information about the language programme I am organising for 2013. I intend welcoming young students of English into my home during the months of July and August (commencing June 29th.)
I offer a unique holiday, with three hours of English lessons every morning, a variety of exciting activities every afternoon and an unforgettable farm homestay in Ireland.
I am an English teacher and my husband, John, is a dairy farmer. We live in our 300 year old home on the farm in County Laois, in the centre of Ireland.
I will give the English lessons, and these will involve a mix of reading, writing, Grammar, speaking, listening, language games and music, catering for the student’s particular level. Each afternoon, I organise activities, horseback riding, bowling, paintball, hiking mountains, swimming, go karting, cinema, visiting Dublin, Kilkenny etc. Every weekend, I bring our visitors on excursions to see different parts of Ireland- Dublin,
Wicklow and Kilkenny.
Last summer, we hosted Daniel, a young Spaniard, and Yannick, a young French boy, for a month, and it was a great success and an enjoyable experience for us all.
With us, you will be treated as a family member. You will have your own room in our home and access to our laptop for emails etc.

Es ist wichtig, dass es sich nicht um einen gegenseitigen Austausch handelt. Es ist mehr ein kultureller Austausch. Ihr kommt nach England. Niemand der Familie wird nach Deutschland kommen. Außerdem ist zu beachten, dass dieses Angebot NICHT kostenlos ist und auch, wenn auch im Vergleich geringere, Kosten für Verpflegung,und natürlich Anreise aufkommen!
