Host Family Letter- gut so?

So, mein Host Family Letter ist fertig. Kann ich das so an meine zukünftige Familie abschicken?

Dear host family,

my name is Larissa yx and I’m 15 years old. I’m a calm and balanced person. Besides I am attentive and empathetic.

I live in Austria (Tyrol), together with my mum and my sister. The village is called xy, lies between the mountains and has about two thousand habitants. I have a very close relationship to my mum Josefine and my sister Patrizia. Together we live in a big house with a big garden. My mum lets several flats in our house. My sister is 17, so she still goes to school.

I attend the 10th grade. At my high school one can choose electives from the 10th grade. I chose English history and drama. My favourite subjects are English, French, history and, of course, my electives.

My day normally starts at 6:30am. I need about half an hour for my morning routine. My school starts at 8:00am and end between 12:30pm and 5:30pm. Afterwards I have lunch or dinner and do my homework. Depending on when my lessons end, I spend my leisure time with my hobbies and in the evening I learn, watch TV or read.

In my spare time I like to read and to write my own stories. Besides I like acting, designing clothes and interior and particularly learn languages. For example, next to my first language German, I speak English and currently learn French (at school) and Swedish (on my own) I also like playing tennis.
There’s one last point I really want to mention. It’s that I’m pretty scared of dogs. I’m fine with every other pet but I not with them.
I hope that during my time in Britain I will get to know you and your culture. I want to experience the foreign school system and the daily life. During those six weeks I would also like to improve my English skills and find many new friends. As well I would love to have fun with you and my classmates at school.

Finally I want to thank you so much for giving me the chance to spend time with you, improve my English skills and learn about your everyday life and your culture. I’m looking forward to living with you!

Danke schon im Vorraus für euren Kommentare!
:grinning:
