Hallo Leute,

ich bin auf der Suche mach einer Gastfamilie, genaueres könnt ihr meinem Host Family Letter entnemehmen.
Ich fände es super , wenn ihr mich auf meine Rechtschreib-und Grammatikfehler hinweisen könntet und mir vielleicht Tipps geben könntet, wie ich das ganze noch diplotmatischer gestalten kann.

Dear ….

my name is … and I am 16 year-old-girl from Germany. I am looking forward to spend a year in England at a boarding school. Sadly the boarding school is closed during holidays, therefore I wish to spend the holidays by a host family.
It would be very kind from you and it would mean a lot to me if you to ask the parents of your school if they are interested to accommodate a pupil in holidays.

But first I would like to introduce myself and give some informations about me:
I live with my parents in Berlin and visit a high-school.
In my free time, I participate in fencing classes twice a week and do ballet once a week.
I am interested in another languages and other cultures and I can integrate in new surroundings very well. I am very open-minded and love to get to know people. I also can really good get around with children.
I have started to think about a year in England very early, because I am interested in the English culture and country side, therefore I am looking forward to attend sixth form in Britain.

If there are families, who are interested to accommodate me, I would be very happy and would like to give a clearer impression of myself and also come in contact to them.

in der englischen Sprache gibt es die Angewohnheit nach der Begrüßung den ersten Buchstaben des ersten Wortes groß zu schreiben. Das bedeutet My name is…
Außerdem denke ich, dass du dich bei : by a host family ,von der deutschen Sprache beeinflusst würdest.
Denn eigentlich bedeutet es ,von einer Gastfamilie ". By wird im Passiv verwendet, wenn du sagen möchtest von wem: The letter was written by me.
Bei dem 2. Nebensatz verstehe ich nicht ganz den Sinn. Soll das heißen, wenn du Interesse hast ein Schüler in den Ferien unterzubringen frage die Eltern deiner Schule ?? Jedenfalls ,denke ich, dass das to bei to ask nicht hingehört, bin mir aber nicht sicher. Vielleicht hört es sich besser an, wenn du vor holidays noch ein bestimmten Artikel setzt. Die Mehrzahl von Information bleibt im Englischen gleich und zwar … and give some information.
Woher weißt du das du dich in einer neuen Umgebung gut integrieren kannst? Vielleicht sollst du noch ein Grund nennen z.B. das du den nächsten Satz einfach mit einem because verbindest. Einmal schreibst du was mit englischer Kultur und dann, dass du die Oberstufe in GB verbringen möchtest. Ich würde es angleichen. Aber nur als Vorschlag. Die -ing Endung hört sich zwar lustig an, aber thanking you ist das glaube ich überflüssig.
Ich gebe keine Garantie drauf und freue mich, wenn mich jemand noch kritisieren kann. Denn aus Fehlern lernt mehr. Ach ja und diplomatisch schreibt man ohne t und entnehmen so. Nicht übel nehmen.:)^^
Würdest du schon von der Schule akzeptiert und verbringst du die beiden Jahre in England. Welchen Abschluss machst du da A Levels oder IB ?
