Ich bin gerade dabei meine bewerbung zu schreiben ich bin auch fast fertig
nur der Brief von meinen eltern an die gastfamilie fehlt noch…
wir haben aber keine ahnung was in so einen brief rein muss
kann mir jemand der den brief schon fertig hat mir mal seinen schicknien oder
mir ein paar tipps geben???

Also…ich bin auch bei INTO und geh 2007/08 und auch ich hab meine Application forms teils ausgefüllt vor mir liegen…mit meinem Parents letter kann ich dir aber leider (noch) nicht dienen!
Mal sehen…evt. werd ich ihn reinstellen wenn ich ihn für meine Eltern fertig eintippen darf

…bei mir (taste) steht, dass die eltern die persönlichkeit, die interessen, den freundeskreis , die essgewohnheiten (wenn besonders) und die selbstständigkeit ihres kindes beschreiben soll und dann noch nen bißl das familienleben darstellen und natürlich nicht zu vergessen noch der dank!
so, das is so das, was bei mir steht, ich hoffe es hilft nen bißl weiter

Dear Hostfamilie,
First of all we want to thank you tke up a foreigner youth in your familie.
The wish from our daughter Janina to go for a high-school abroad to a host familie went from strength to strength after a student travel to England in 2005. Item during her stay in England she lives in a hostfamilie, which she liked very much.
Janina had no problems to accustom herself to the wonts if the hostfamilie in this short time.
Now we want to interduce clear and brief our familie and mainly our daughter Janina:
We, the parents Egon and Heidrun both 44 years old, live together with our two daughters Janina (16 years old) and Chantal (12 years old) in a house on the swabian alb. This region is rural and mountainous and in winter you can there skiing.
At the moment Janina attend the 10th grade at a german ‘Gymnasium’. She’s a good student and had never problems at school. She finish her duties and responsibilities
determined and consistent. Item she is very creativ and she’s a little organizing ability.
Janina spend a lot of her freetime with her friends of her scout group.
But her biggest hobbie is dancing in a carnival club.
In our region it’s tradition to celebrate carnival.
We see it as a big challenge for our daughter to get to know a new country with another culture. Surly this is going to be a great experience for her whole lofe.
Of course we as parents and sister will miss Janina very much!!
For the time you’ll spend with our daugther we wish you a lot of delight and fun.
Just as well we wish that Janina will be soon blend in her hostfamilie as a familie member and that her cogitations about home won’t be too bad.
Today we’ll already want to thank you for everything you’ll do for our daughter Janina.

Ich gehe auch 2008/09 mit into in die USA,
und bin in genau der selben Situation,
Apllication Forms fertig, Elternbrief fehlt^^
Also ich werde jetzt noch bissl im Internet schauen ob ich Ideen finde und dann hoffe ich,dass wir des möglichst schnell abschicken können!!
Bin schon soo gespannt ob alles klappt…
